  • About Internet

     Literally, the Internet (short for interconnected-networking) is a global system of the entire network of computers connected together using standard Internet Protocol Suite (TCP / IP) to serve billions of users around the world. When the Internet (the letter 'I' large) is a public computer systems, which connect globally and using TCP / IP as the protocol exchange packet (packet switching communication protocol.) The series of the largest Internet called the Internet. How to connect the circuit with kaedah is called internetworking.

      Internet protocols are commonly used are IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, PPP, SLIP, ICMP, POP3, IMAP, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, Telnet, FTP, LDAP, and SSL.
 
     Some popular services on the Internet that use of these protocols are e-mail, Usenet, Newsgroups, File Sharing, WWW (World Wide Web), Gopher, session access (Session Access), WAIS, finger, IRC, MUD, and Mush. In between all this, an email / electronic mail and World Wide Web is more often used, and more services are built upon, such as mailing lists and web logs. The Internet allows the current service (Real-time service), such as web radio, and webcasts, which can be accessed around the world. Also through the Internet it is possible to communicate directly between two or more users via instant messenger programs like Camfrog, Pidgin (Gaim), Trilian, Kopete, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger and Windows Live Messenger.

     There are two common forms of Internet access, the dial-up, and broadband.
Besides using a PC (Personal Computer), we also can access the Internet through Mobile (HP) using a facility known as GPRS (General Packet Radio Service). GPRS is a wireless communication standard (wireless) that has a connection speed of 115 kbps and supports the wider application (graphics and multimedia). GPRS technology is accessible to support the facility. GPRS settings on mobile depending on the operator used. Internet access costs are calculated through the amount of capacity (per-kilobytes) that are downloaded.

  • Internet Culture
     Large number of Internet users and growing, has put Internet culture. The Internet also has a great influence on science, and worldview. With only berpandukan search engines like Google, users around the world have easy Internet access for a variety of information. Compared with books and libraries, the Internet represents the spread (Decentralization) / knowledge (knowledge) of information and data in the extreme.

The development of the Internet also has affected economic development. Various sale and purchase transactions that previously could only be done by face to face (and some very small by mail or telephone), is now very easy and often done via the Internet. Transactions via the Internet is known as e-commerce.

Related to governance, the Internet also fueled the growth of government transparency in the implementation of e-government as in Sragen regency which was successfully provide increased regional income by using internet for transparency in the management of public funds and trimming the bureaucracy, so that residents in the area is highly profitable terebut thus the civil servants can also be increased welfare for local income rose sharply.
 
    So, today's Internet is indispensable to our lives. because of the internet we can seek knowledge from anywhere in the world online.
